This is Southie; Boston's 'gritty' Irish neighborhood.

Particulary the setting is were W. Broadway doglegs left into E. Broadway which affords the best means to capture a long procession fitting a St. Pat's painting!

From left to right: An Irish pizza parlor, Coast Guard helicopter, Revolutionary War Minutemen, a bagpipe band, St. Patrick himself ;), little Irish Step Dancers, Veterans, Politicians, Mass. St. Mounted Police, a Marine Corps band, Color Guard, and a sea of green clad spectators.
