So after seeing fashion shows on TV countless times I was interested to actually go check one out (during one of NorthPark Center's biannual events).

Before going I looked into fashion/ catwalk paintings and could find none. Great! A perfect opportunity then to capture this unique event.

At the fashion show I found it was actually an incredible opportunity for a painting. The high contrast between the darkened audience and bright models and catwalk were stunning. The media on the far right rounds out the subject matter perfectly.
