02 AUG 08: McKinney Avenue Contemporary (MAC) Show: “Gastronomia | erótica y estimulante” My submission for the annual members show that turned out somewhat Edward Hopper-like.

Early morning bedazzling skyline, candlelight, chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, knocked over and lipstick laden glasses, carelessly shed clothing, and a couple in complete reckless abandon.

“After Strawberries” depicts the magic and raw intimacy occurring between a two people who’ve partaken in the intoxicating elements of dessert, champagne, and arresting scenery.

The canvas back also includes an impromtu sketch of my dog.
