Montreal; "La ville aux cent clochers" ("The city of a hundred bell towers"). I have visited this fine city with incredible character several times.

Although the downtown has a multitude of skyscrapers the best part of the city is the architecture in old Montreal.

I found several opportunities to paint Montreal but Place Jacques-Cartier just seemed like the best place to start. The scene includes: The Nelson Column, City Hall, Hotel Nelson, and a multitude of stores.
