Atop a hill just off of Mockingbird and northeast of White Rock Lake; I captured a great view of Dallas. This painting was done en plein air ...particularly on a very windy (30mph gusts) and loud day.

The piece includes everything seen on a typical weekend at the Lake: the Dallas skyline in the distance, geese heading south for the winter, waves billowing down the Lake, sailboats, cyclists, joggers, kayakers, vehicles, and dogs and their owners enjoying the weekend across the way in the dog park.
